Put a Pokémon machine in your store
You give us floor space and a plug. We give you 10% of everything it sells, and we pay for all of it.
The deal
- You pay nothing, ever. Not for the machine, not for what goes in it, not for delivery, not for service. There is no fee, no lease and no buy-in.
- Paid monthly, within the first week, for the month before it. You get the machine’s sales report with it, so the figure you are paid on is one you can check rather than one you have to take.
- No lock-in and no minimum term. Thirty days notice either way, and we collect the machine at our cost. If it does not earn its floor space, it leaves.
Who does what
What you provide
- About six square feet of floorRoughly the footprint of a vending machine and enough room to stand in front of it. Somewhere people already walk past or already wait.
- A standard wall outletA normal 120V socket within reach. No plumbing, no network drop, no wiring work.
That is the whole list.
What we provide
- The machine, bought and owned by usWe buy it, we deliver it, we install it. It stays our property and our problem.
- Everything inside itWe buy the product up front and carry it. Nothing in that machine is bought with your money or sitting on your books.
- Restocking, on our schedule and our fuelWe watch what sells and come back before it runs dry. You never count anything, order anything or hold a key.
- Jams, refunds and repairsA customer with a stuck pack is our problem, not your counter staff. There is a number on the machine and it rings us.
- Card payments, handled by the machineTap and chip, straight through the machine. Nothing runs through your register or your merchant account.
What is in the machine
Sealed Japanese booster packs, from current and recent sets.
Sealed Japanese booster boxes at locations where they make sense, decided store by store rather than by a rule.
Nothing resealed, nothing repackaged, nothing weighed. Every item comes out of Japan sealed and goes into the machine sealed. Authenticity is the entire business, and a machine on your floor carries your name as much as ours. This is how we check it.
Japanese product is the reason the machine is interesting. It is not the same set list people can buy at any big-box store down the road, and for a lot of collectors it is the only place they will see it in person at all.
Where this works
Anywhere in Oregon where people already walk past the same spot, or already stand around waiting. It does not need to be a card shop.
- Card and comic shops
- Hobby and game stores
- Arcades and bowling alleys
- Barbershops and salons
- Boba, ice cream and dessert shops
- Laundromats
- Family entertainment centres
- Mall kiosks and food courts
If your shop is not on that list and you think it would work, say so in the form. The list is where we would start looking, not a rule about who we will talk to.
How it goes
- 1You send the form below. It reaches a person, not a queue. We reply by email, usually within a business day.
- 2We come and look at the spot. Free, no commitment, and we will tell you if we think it is a bad fit rather than put a machine somewhere it is going to sit dead.
- 3We deliver, plug it in and stock it. Nothing changes about how you run your store. Your first payment lands the month after.
The questions owners actually ask
- Who owns the machine?
- We do. It is our asset and our insurance. You are not buying it, leasing it or being asked to depreciate it.
- Do my staff have to do anything?
- No. They do not stock it, they do not hold a key, they do not open the till for it and they do not handle refunds. The number on the machine rings us, not your counter.
- What if it breaks or jams?
- Ours to fix, and we come out for it. If it is going to be down for a while we take it away rather than leave a dead box on your floor.
- Does it take cards?
- Yes, tap and chip, through the machine’s own reader. Nothing touches your register or your merchant account, so nothing shows up on your statements.
- What about theft or damage?
- Our machine, our stock, our loss. You are not liable for what is inside it. What we do ask is that it sits somewhere visible from the counter, which is as much for your peace of mind as ours.
- How much room does it need?
- About six square feet, against a wall, near an outlet. If you can picture where a claw machine would go, that is the spot.
- Am I locked in?
- No. No lock-in and no minimum term. Thirty days notice either way, and we collect the machine at our cost. We would rather you keep it because it earns than because you signed something.
- How do I know the 10% is right?
- The machine counts its own sales and you get that report with the payment. If the two disagree, the report wins.
Tell us about your store
Nothing to sign and no account to create. The more you tell us about the spot, the faster we can say yes or no.
