How the matches are made
Your spares are the copies past the first. The one in your binder is never offered — a matcher that suggests trading away the card you are collecting is one people stop trusting after the first message.
The other side is read from public binders and nothing else: their spare copies, and the gaps in sets they are visibly most of the way through. A set somebody owns a quarter of and not all of is a set they are working on; below that, a partial binder is just what fell out of a pack, and treating those gaps as wants would match everybody with everybody.
Nobody’s wishlist, email, private binder or order history is used or shown here. Your own side uses your own wishlist, which is yours. Your binder is only visible to this if you have made it public, and you can turn that off at any time.
The value on each side is a Cardmarket European average converted to USD, and it is there so nobody spends an evening finding out a swap was never going to work. It is a reference, not a price either of you has agreed to.
